Advanced food safety class for food business managers.

This course and exam—accredited by National Registry of Food Safety Professionals—helps food business managers understand food sanitation and Washington Food Code (RCW 246-215). Upon completion, you will receive:

  • 5-year Food Safety Manager Certificate from National Registry of Food Safety Professionals.
  • 5-year Washington Food Worker Card.

  • Who is the Person in Charge (PIC)?
  • Demonstration of knowledge by the PIC.
  • Microbiology basics.
  • Prevention of foodborne illness.
  • Hygiene and sanitation practices.
  • Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) principles.
  • Time and temperature relationships.
  • How to conduct the Self-Inspection Program (SIP).
