Fun activities to teach children healthy actions.
Operation Suds is an interactive program developed to teach children about handwashing. Designed for grades K-6, materials are available through the Health Department.
The program consists of:
- A brief discussion about the importance of handwashing.
- A short animated video.
- A special blacklight activity designed to test each student's handwashing ability.
Students will learn about:
- What germs are.
- Where germs hide.
- When to wash hands.
- How to wash hands.
The program takes about 45 minutes to complete.
