When you buy or sell a home, we offer a service to provide water supply information to:

  • Banks, mortgage companies and other lenders.
  • Buyers.
  • Sellers.

Individual Water Supply Review $360.

Fees are non-refundable.

What happens after I submit my application for review?

Individual Water Supply Review: A water supply serving a single-family home.

To prepare for this review:

  • Electricity must be on.
  • Well and well components must work normally.
  • We need access to all water components (pumphouse, well, pump controls, treatment).

If house has been vacant for more than 30 days:

  • Turn on outdoor spigots and run sprinklers to flush water lines for a couple of hours before our site visit.

We will visit your property to:

  • Inspect the water source.
  • Inspect pump house, if applicable.
  • Collect a water sample for bacteria and nitrate.

We will:

  • Complete our review within 10 business days.
  • Send a completed Water Supply Review to the applicant.

Public Water Supply Review: A water system serving more than one home or commercial building.

We will:

  • Review the application.
  • Verify the water system meets public health standards.
  • Complete our review within five business days.
  • Send a completed Water Supply Review to the applicant.

The Water Supply Review is a snapshot of the water supply on the day we conduct the review/inspection. Our review does not guarantee the future condition of the water system.
