Since our March 7 news release with two new COVID-19 cases, we have another case in a Pierce County resident. The county’s total for today is four cases.

We want to keep you informed with the most up-to-date COVID-19 activity in Pierce County. Moving forward, we will update our website daily by 2 p.m. with any new cases through 11:59 p.m. the previous day. These are presumptive positive cases the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will confirm. Only the Health Department can release information on confirmed positive cases.

Visit www.tpchd.org/coronavirus often for case updates, our most recent guidance about the disease, and more.
