
Infection Control Practitioners
Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department values the work done by infection control practitioners (ICPs) throughout the county. Your work in combating communicable disease within your organizations, mirrors that done by the health department in the community. Keeping a close link with ICPs is an important way that we distribute new information to health care and residential facilities, and information received from you is essential to knowing what public health issues the community is experiencing.
The Health Department offers the following assistance to Infection Control Practitioners (ICPs) in Pierce County and others interested in improving infection control in health care and community settings:
