Tacoma - Tacoma-Pierce County Board of Health will meet Wednesday, September 2, 2009, at the Health Department Auditorium, 3629 South D Street, Tacoma, starting at 3:00 PM.

Resolution No. 2009-4183?Authorization to amend Resolution No. 2009-4163 - the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department 2009 Fee Schedule in compliance with the Washington State Department of Social & Health Services Division of Alcohol & Substance Abuse Alcohol & Drug Treatment Outpatient Service Reimbursement Schedule to increase Substance Abuse Treatment Program fees. 2. Resolution No. 2009-4184?Authorization to accept $33,750 from the Washington State Department of Social & Health Services and to amend fund and cost center 103-554 (Apple Health for Kids), by $33,750, from $-0- to $33,750, October 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009; and, to extend regular 2.0 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) Outreach Caseworkers through December 31, 2009. Resolution No. 2009-4185?Authorization to accept $89,466 from the MultiCare Health System and $108,225 from the Franciscan Health System and to amend fund and cost center 101-122 (Assistant Secretary Preparedness & Response?ASPR - Pan Flu) by $197,691, from $117,793 to $315,484, through December 31, 2009. 4. Resolution No. 2009-4186?Authorization to expend $197,691with the Washington State Department of Health to purchase the antiviral Oseltamivir (Tamiflu) through the Federal contract to provide 6,200 courses to the MultiCare Health System and 7,500 courses to the Franciscan Health System, who will reimburse the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department for the expense, and to charge the purchase to fund and cost center 101-122 (ASPR ? 5. Resolution No. 2009-4187?Authorization to accept $1,935 from the American College of Emergency Physicians and to amend fund and cost center 101-111 (Bioterrorism?City Readiness Initiative) by $1,935, from $134,162 to $136,097, August 1, 2009 through October 31, 2009.
