Avoid the Back-to-School Rush

TACOMA | Aug 19, 2009 | Don't delay having your child immunized. It's the best way to protect your family and other children from getting sick. Lines are longer during the week before school starts so take the time now to have your children immunized. 

Call your child's healthcare provider or call (253) 798-2987 to locate a mobile clinic for your child's vaccinations. You may also go to www.tpchd.org to view the current children's immunization calendar, or use the following list of back-to-school immunization sites in Pierce County:

  • August 25, 2009, 11:00 am - 6:00 pm, South Hill Mall (near Old Country Buffet)
  • August 27, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, South Hill Mall (near Old Country Buffet)
  • August 31, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, South Hill Mall (near Old Country Buffet)
  • September 5, 11:00 am - 4:00 pm, Tacoma Mall (look for signs)
  • September 12, 11:00 am - 4:00 pm, Tacoma Mall (look for signs)
