Food Plan Review Guidelines


The Food Service Establishment Plan Review Guide is a checklist of items you will need to review and include in your final plans to ensure that you've covered every area of your food business. Reviewing the Plan Review Guidelines expedites the process by helping to ensure your application addresses specific items that the Plan Review Staff will be looking for. Use the Guidelines and Sample Floor Plan in the Guidelines as references if you are starting a new food service establishment or remodeling an existing facility.

Once you complete the final plans of how your establishment will be set up for business according to the Plan Review Guide, you will need to submit the information to Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department for review along with the Food Plan Review Application to get final approval.
